5 broadcasting locations serving
Myakka Technologies uses the
newest in wireless technology to bring blazing
high-speed Internet service to sparsely populated areas. We use a small
radio/antenna. This unit attaches to the
outside of our subscriber’s house, pointing to one of our 5 towers. If the customer is close enough, the radio can
actually be placed inside the home. It then beams a signal to our tower and then
on to the Internet via one of our high-speed phone lines. Distances of 8-10 from
one of our tower locations can be achieved. Mount the radio and load the drivers and you
are surfing the web. Download speeds compare
favorably to many
Because this technology does
not use the phone line, a second phone line is no longer necessary. Myakka

Most of our radios have Ethernet
connections so they are compatible with Mac’s and Linux systems. These units can be connected directly to a
router to run multiple computers in your house.

of the 5 towers. If you live within the shaded areas, please call us for a free
